Sarah Young

Sarah Young (she/her) is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing in Wellington, New Zealand. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia (UK), where she was the UEA Booker scholarship recipient. She has been long listed for the Bath Short Story award and the BBC National Short Story award (UK). She has published essays in Strong Words 2 and Hinterland, and was nominated for a 2022 Pushcart Prize for the latter. She formerly worked as a journalist in Dubai, Indonesia, and New Zealand.
