Alisha Acquaye

Alisha Acquaye (she/they) is a writer, workshop bae and movement and self portrait artist from Brooklyn, NY. Alisha is writing her first book, a hybrid, experimental collection on Black femme embodiment, explored through the realms of shapeshifting, possession, afrofuturism and West African mythology. With self portraits and collabs with artists she admires, Alisha explores the elements of her written stories through her flesh. Their writing is published in Carve Magazine, Allure, Teen Vogue, and more places.
