Quizayra Gonzalez

Quizayra Gonzalez is a Dominican writer and curator. She writes stories that explore notions of belonging and placemaking with an emphasis on the Caribbean and first-generation experience in the U.S. Quizayra has published short stories in various magazines, including La Galeria Magazine and the Latino Book Review Literary Magazine. When she’s not writing short stories, Quizayra is researching and documenting the multilayered role of bodegas in communities.
